PDO & Mint absorbable threads — an immediate lift with lasting collagen stimulation, no surgery required.
Thread lifting is a minimally invasive aesthetic procedure that uses absorbable medical-grade threads to mechanically lift sagging tissue while simultaneously stimulating the body's natural collagen production. Unlike traditional facelift surgery, thread lifting requires no general anesthesia, no significant incisions, and minimal recovery time.
At Jeune Medspa, we use two types of threads depending on your needs: PDO (polydioxanone) threads and Mint threads — both clinically proven and FDA-cleared for facial lifting. Each thread type comes in different configurations for different results, from structural lifting to skin texture improvement.
The threads are inserted under the skin using a fine cannula or needle. Once placed, cog threads grip the tissue and physically reposition it upward. As the threads gradually absorb over 6–9 months, they leave behind a scaffold of new collagen that maintains the lift and improves skin quality long-term.
Thread lifting is ideal for patients in their 30s–60s who are beginning to notice mild to moderate sagging and are not ready for or do not want surgical intervention. It is also an excellent maintenance option for those who want to extend the results of a prior surgical facelift.
These reactions are normal and typically temporary:
See a visible repositioning of sagging tissue the same day as your treatment.
As threads absorb, they trigger new collagen formation that improves skin quality for months afterward.
PDO and Mint threads are biocompatible and fully absorbed by the body — no permanent implants.
Achieve meaningful lifting results without general anesthesia, incisions, or extended recovery.
We combine cog threads for structural lift with mono threads for skin quality, tailored to your anatomy.
Enjoy lifted, tightened contours for 12–18 months as collagen remodeling continues long after threads absorb.
