Radiofrequency energy combined with precision microneedling — the most effective pairing for collagen induction, texture refinement, and scar improvement.
RF Needle and MTS (Micro-Transdermal System) microneedling combines two powerfully synergistic technologies: radiofrequency energy and precision microneedling. While standard microneedling creates micro-channels to stimulate collagen, RF microneedling takes this a step further by simultaneously delivering radiofrequency energy through the needles directly into the dermis — amplifying the collagen and elastin regeneration response dramatically.
The insulated needles penetrate to a precisely calibrated depth, protecting the epidermis while delivering heat exactly where it is needed most. This means skin tone and pigmentation are unaffected, making RF microneedling one of the few resurfacing treatments that is safe and effective for all skin types and tones — including darker complexions that must avoid laser resurfacing.
The combined stimulus of mechanical micro-injury and thermal energy creates a profound healing response. Skin texture smooths, pores tighten, acne scars fill in, and fine lines soften — all through the body's own repair mechanisms, stimulated and amplified by the treatment.
Most patients benefit from a series of 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart for optimal scar improvement and texture refinement. Maintenance treatments every 6–12 months help sustain results. A topical numbing cream is applied 30–45 minutes before treatment for maximum comfort.
After treatment, skin will appear red — similar to a mild sunburn — and may feel warm and slightly tight for 24–48 hours. Pinpoint bleeding is normal and resolves quickly. Most patients are comfortable being seen in public within 2–3 days with mineral makeup, and skin continues to improve for 3–6 months as collagen remodeling progresses.
Mechanical microneedling plus RF heat creates a more powerful collagen induction response than either technology alone.
Insulated needles protect the epidermis, making this one of the few effective resurfacing options for darker skin tones.
RF energy directly in the dermis breaks down scar tissue and stimulates collagen to fill and smooth acne scars.
Thermal tightening around pores creates a visibly smoother, more refined skin surface.
Most patients present normally within 2–3 days — far less recovery than ablative laser alternatives.
Structural collagen changes provide lasting improvement — not just temporary surface smoothing.
